Food and Beverage Delivery
All food and beverage advance orders will be delivered to your suite approximately one hour prior to the event. Should you require food items at a specific time, please note this on your order, and every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Suite attendants will start removing food items from your suite two hours after the event has started or when items are depleted upon approval. Suite holders are welcome to remain in their suite after the event for up to 30 minutes.

Food and Beverage Policies
SAVOR… exclusively handles all food and beverage products in the suites. It is not permissible for attendees to bring food or beverage into the suite from outside sources. Any food and beverage products brought into the suites without proper authorization will be removed. Any outside alcohol found in the suites will result in the loss of all alcohol privileges.

Equipment and Supplies
All supplies such as knives, spoons, plates, cocktail and dinner napkins, salt and pepper shakers are provided in each suite. China, glassware and silverware are prohibited within the Richmond Coliseum.

Advanced Menu Ordering
To help deliver the best food and beverage service possible, we ask that your food and beverage orders be placed by 5:00pm, at least 72 hours in advance to the event. Day of Event Ordering
A “Day of Event Menu” is available for suite holders to place your order if the advance order deadline has already passed. If you are ordering after the 72-hour deadline, please click here. Download Day of Event Suite Menu here. Food and beverage may also be ordered during an event directly through your suite attendant from the “Day of Event” menu.

Alcoholic Beverages
Full ranges of options are listed for you in our beverage section of the menu. We will gladly honor any special beverage requests given within a 72-hour notice. To maintain compliance with rules and regulations set forth by the Virginia ABC, we ask that you please follow these guidelines:

  • The Richmond Coliseum exclusively must dispense all alcoholic beverages.
  • We ask that the Suite Host monitor and control alcohol consumption within the suite.
  • Persons under the age of 21 are not permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Please do not serve alcoholic beverages to visibly intoxicated persons.
  • SMG reserves the right to refuse services to anyone who is unable to produce an acceptable form of identification or appears to be intoxicated.
  • Suite holders and guests are not permitted to take cans, bottles, or glass items out of the suites. Drinks taken outside the suite must be poured in a disposable cup.
  • During some events, alcohol will not be sold to the general public. In these cases, please keep all alcoholic beverages in the suites.
  • Mixed Beverages are strictly prohibited in the Coliseum Suites

Personalized Services
During events, a suite attendant will be assigned to deliver your food and beverage orders, take additional orders, and periodically assist in maintaining your suite. Should you desire a dedicated suite attendant to remain exclusively in your suite for an event, please contact the Catering Department at 804-482-6869. Please allow 96 hours advance notice to ensure your request can be accommodated.
The cost for a private attendant is $100.00 per event.

Payment Procedures
All suite holders will receive a computer-generated guest check at the conclusion of each event. Guest Checks must be settled prior to your departure using Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover or cash. It is recommended that, for your convenience, a credit card number be placed on file in our catering office and used to settle your bill. An authorized signature will be required on the guest check at the conclusion of the event.

Applicable sales tax and a 20% service charge will be added to all orders. Gratuities are at the suite holder’s discretion and may be added to the guest check based on the quality of service received.

No charges will be assessed to the suite holder for food and beverage orders cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. In the event that less than 48 hours notice is given a 50% cancellation fee will be assessed on food items only.
